Hi! My name is Lucy Emptage and I am so excited to do the paddle this year. Paddlers for Humanity has helped our beautiful community in so many different ways so it is so rewarding to be a part of this event. This will be my 5th time doing the paddle and every year it gets better and better. I was born and raised in Amagansett and always had a passion for being involved with our community and helping in any way I can. I am also a teacher out here and I see how great of an impact Paddlers for Humanity has on our education system. It makes me so happy that this event provides so many great opportunities for the youth. This is why the Block Island Challenge holds a special place in my heart!
