As a Board Member of Paddlers for Humanity, I decided it was finally time to do the paddle myself! On August 17, 2024 I will be participating in our annual fundraiser--an 18-mile open ocean paddle from the lighthouse in Montauk, New York to Block Island, Rhode Island.
Paddlers for Humanity has been dedicated to bettering childrens' lives, with an emphasis on supporting innovative and comprehensive mental health programs for kids and youth, including greater early intervention outreach, resilency, anti-bullying, and changing behavior through a focus on the positive. Plus, the P4H Catastrophic Fund supports families in crisis on the East End of Long Island. To date, we have raised over 2 million dollars.
