Family and Friends,
As predicted by many of you, my block island paddle retirement was short lived! Vaugh Cutillo has convinced me to give it another go after I initiated him last year. In addition, our friend Bobby Reich has persuaded me to up the ante and we will be attempting to do this year's paddle on a traditional prone board (see image below).
In 2019 and 2022 you supported me with your kind words and generous donations as I completed the Paddle for Humanity events. To date, Paddlers for Humanity has raised over $2 million! On August 12th, I will be joining the Paddlers for Humanity on my third 18-mile paddle from Montauk Point to Block Island. All funds raised go to charities that better the lives of the east end community, including the East Hampton Jr. Lifeguard program where I volunteer every summer.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal of $1500. Completing this paddle on a prone board this year represents my biggest challenge yet and I need all of your help and support (and likely a crowler of two) to get through it!
