Great news: We’re excited to announce that the Paddlers for Humanity Block Challenge is scheduled for Saturday, July 23rd 2022! After the lock downs and derailed plans, we are pumped to get out on the water, have fun, and raise funds for important causes that better the lives of kids!
The Block Island Challenge is a 18-19 mile open ocean paddle from the Montauk Lighthouse in Montauk, NY to Block Island, Rhode Island. Each paddler has a goal of raising a minimum of $1,500 to participate. The paddle will begin at 6:00 am and will take approximately 6-8 hours. Please consider helping me meet my fundraising goal to better the lives of children on the East End. These funds are needed more than ever right now. No amount is too small. From $5-$500, every dollar goes to childrens mental health programs!
Paddlers for Humanity is an all-volunteer, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in East Hampton, NY dedicated to bettering the lives of children, with an emphasis on supporting innovative and comprehensive mental health programs for kids and youth, including greater early intervention outreach, resiliency, anti-bullying, and changing behavior through a focus on the positive. Plus, the P4H Catastrophic Fund supports families in crisis on the East End of Long Island.
