The Montauk to Block Island Paddle Challenge is a charity event that is near and dear to me. I have participated in this event every year since 2009 because I believe in the work this non profit does and have seen firsthand the impact that Paddlers for Humanity has had in this community. Their support of projects that focus on Children's Mental Health and Growth through a holistic approach by funding programs in early intervention, anti-bullying and skill building P4H has helped generations of children on the east end. In addition the P4H catastrophic fund supports those families who are most in need due to exigent circumstances.
To date Paddlers for Humanity has raised $1.9 Million that has been used to directly fund programs that are indispensable to helping children connect to one another, while preventing the depression and isolation that has become so prevalent in today's society. WIth the Block Challenge having been cancelled the last two years due to the COVID-19 Pandemic your help is needed now more than ever. Any donation is greatly appreciated by myself, but more than anything think of the kids that you can have a positive impact on.
