Friends & Family,
Paddlers for Humanity is Saturday, August 10th. This is a great open ocean paddle from Montauk Point to Block Island. It's 18 miles. We will be participating together as a father/son team. All proceeds go to charities and programs that enrich the lives of children from the East End and Block Island such as programs that focus on mental health initiatives for children, or groups that help maintain community trails, or another that teaches austistic children to surf. Although it may not be obvious when you think about the Hamptons or Block Island- there are many families in need. Proceeds also go to organizations that provide educational experiences that help children elsewhere, such as one that annually funds a group of East Hampton HS students that tutor and provide assistance at schools in Nicaragua.
