Hello family and friends,

     I am excited to announce that I will be paddling in Paddlers for Humanity’s BLOCK CHALLENGE 2016 on July 30th. Your support would mean so much to me.

    Paddlers for Humanity is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in East Hampton, NY dedicated to bettering children’s lives, with an emphasis on supporting innovative and comprehensive mental health programs for children and youth, including greater early intervention outreach, resiliency, anti-bullying, and changing behavior through a focus on the positive.

     The BLOCK CHALLENGE is an 18-mile open ocean paddle from Montauk Point to Block Island.  I will be using a Stand Up Paddle Board and it will be my third time paddling this distance.  The event supports various children’s charities that Paddlers for Humanity raises money for on a volunteer basis. These charities have benefitted families and children's mental health and wellness with donations going to buildOn, Hoops for Hope, i-tri Girls, Family Service League, Project Most, and The P4H East End Catastrophic Fund among others.

     I need to raise a minimum of $1500 to meet my goal to participate in the event.  All of the money will go to the Paddlers for Humanity charities.
