On July 30, 2016, I will be participating in yet another 18-mile open ocean paddle from Montauk, New York to Block Island, Rhode Island!!
We will start at the north side of the Montauk Lighthouse and end at Champlin’s Marina on Block Island. This amazing experience is a fundraiser for Paddlers for Humanity, a local non-profit organization.
Paddlers for Humanity has been dedicated to bettering childrens' lives, with an emphasis on supporting innovative and comprehensive mental health programs for kids and youth, including greater early intervention outreach, resilency, anti-bullying, and changing behavior through a focus on the positive. Plus, the P4H Catastrophic Fund supports families in crisis on the East End of Long Island. To date, they have raised over 1 million dollars. Thank you so much to all of you that donated last year. I am humbly asking for your help yet again so we can better the lives of all our local children! Please help me to reach my goal of $12,000. Any donation amount is truly appreciated. No matter how small. Who better to support than our youth?
